A young Nigerian lady has shared a disturbing account of alleged harassment by police officers in Ekpan, Warri. She claims she was b£•ten, handcuffed, and verbally abu$ed.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she described how the incident started over her driver’s license, which the officers allegedly used as a pretext to a$$@ult and intimidate her.
Visibly crying and filled with emotions, she said:
“Because of my driver’s license, I was beaten up, handcuffed, called all sorts of names, and harassed by Nigerian police officers in Ekpan. I am in serious pain and have been crying since. This is not the first time this has happened to me in Warri.”
The story has raised concerns about police conduct and their treatment of citizens, especially women, during routine checks.
