Kora Obidi, a Nigerian dancer and singer, has sparked debate on social media after describing a shortage of excellent guys, particularly for single mothers.
In an internet video, the performer frankly discussed her dating experiences.
She stated that the reality only becomes obvious when a mother raises a child alone.
“You know what we don’t talk about? We don’t talk about the scarcity of good men.
It’s until you’re a single mother that you see that there’s a scarcity of good men,” she said.
Kora Obidi characterised herself as highly prominent and successful, but she still struggles to find a suitable companion.
She cited her celebrity and enormous following as evidence that prestige does not guarantee relationship success.
“For me, I’m a freaking superstar! 18 million followers! International global superstar! I see maybe one or two good men in a year, and they’re all taken,” she stated.
She went on to say that many responsible and desirable guys make early commitments.
“A good man is taken at 16, 17. The women already know that’s a good man, they’ve already trapped him,” she added.
According to her, males who remain unmarried into old age frequently cause concern.
“You see the ones that are there up to 50, they never marry,” she said.
