Celia Jacobs, a young woman from Liberia, has denied that she and her sisters deserted her father, Sammy Jacobs.
Jacobs had accused his three daughters of neglect and abandonment in a now-deleted Facebook post.
Celia stated that she and her sisters have never wronged their father in a Facebook post on Thursday, April 9, adding that there are two sides to a story.
She asserted that her father published the post in an attempt to garner sympathy from the public and disparage his daughters.
Celia feels her father shouldn’t have posted the matter online because there are family matters that the general public might not comprehend.
She added that the best way forward is to settle the issue amicably within the family.
“I’m one of the three girls my father mentioned in his post. There are things happen within a family that people do not understand,?” she wrote.
“Firstly, I’m Christian, and I know my sisters, and I have never done anything wrong to our father for him to come on the internet and make us look bad.
“A good and caring father will never come on the internet to bring his household problems to the world.
“We don’t owe anybody an explanation, but people who know the full story will understand what I’m talking about.
“There are always two sides to a story, so you guys can say what pleases your. I will not join you on this blue app to do what you are doing.
“You spoke about abandonment; we never abandoned you, but you are only doing this to buy public sentiment.
“I don’t think this is the best way to go about things, so I’m not delving into this with you. Settling things amicably was the only way forward.”
