Nigerian woman Adaeze Onyeneke, who reportedly lost her husband last month, has shared details about her marriage experience.

In a Facebook post made on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, Adaeze narrated some of the challenges she allegedly endured in the relationship, stating that she drank “oceans of shege,” a popular slang expression used to describe severe hardship and emotional suffering.

“The shege my mum saw in marriage crawled so that my own will FLY. Like I drank oceans of shege and to be honest, I take the entire blame for it because I am wondering how I survived it,” she wrote.
