“The next time you have $3x, it should be with your spouse” — Nathaniel Bassey urges unmarried Hallelujah Challenge participants to abstain

Nigerian gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey has urged unmarried participants of the Hallelujah Challenge to abstain from $3x until marriage, encouraging them to make a personal commitment to uphold their Christian faith.

Speaking during a session of the online prayer programme, Bassey challenged participants to honour God with their bodies and make decisions that reflect their religious convictions.

Addressing unmarried men and women during the programme, the cleric encouraged them to promise God that they would refrain from $3xual relations outside marriage.

He said:> “If you are a sister here or a brother, you will make a promise to God that you will not sleep with anybody who is not your spouse.”

Bassey further asked participants whether they were willing to enter into what he described as a holy agreement with God concerning their $3xual conduct.

He added:> “Are you ready to enter into a deal with God, a holy deal? That the next time you have $3x, it will be with your godly ordained spouse.”

Beyond his message to unmarried participants, Bassey also spoke to business owners, urging them to conduct their businesses with integrity.

He encouraged those who had previously engaged in dishonest practices or wronged others in their business dealings to make amends and commit to doing things differently.

The pastor urged participants to embrace honesty, correct past mistakes and ensure their future dealings reflected their faith.

His message centred on personal discipline, $3xual purity, integrity and the importance of aligning everyday decisions with one’s religious beliefs.
