The lord will do new thing for Nigeria, everyone will rejoice in 2026 – Bishop Adegbite

Bishop Professor Stephen Adegbite, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), is confident that Nigeria will experience peace and prosperity in the new year.

Adegbite expressed confidence in his New Year address, claiming that divine intervention will lead to a great turnaround for the country.

He declared, “The Lord will do a new thing for Nigeria, and everyone will see it and rejoice.”

The NCPC leader emphasised that peace remained the cornerstone of national prosperity.

He believes that without national peace, no substantial progress can be made.

He argued that peace promotes unity, economic progress, and national stability.

Adegbite went on to say that peace is the key to prosperity, and that Nigeria is well-positioned to move forward. “forward ever, backward never.”

Adegbite called on Nigerians to continue praying for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration. He urged citizens to support government policies and activities, particularly the Renewed Hope Agenda. He believes that collective prayer and support are critical to the nation’s successful development.

The NCPC Executive Secretary confirmed that the first group of Christian pilgrims had already left for the Holy Land.

He explained that the pilgrims are praying for Nigeria’s peace, unity, and prosperity.

Adegbite stated that the prayers demonstrate the commission’s dedication to national progress and spiritual assistance.

He sent goodwill messages to President Tinubu, Vice President Tinubu, and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Adegbite also wished all Nigerians a happy, wealthy, and fulfilling new year.

He expressed hope that the year will bring about visible positive development for the country.
