According to reports, the event continued uninterrupted.

According to him, the film was created with artificial intelligence and purposefully distributed to deceive Nigerians ahead of the next election.

In his words, read what he said below:

“Mr President didn’t fall. That video circulating is AI. It was created by the opposition because of the upcoming election. Our president didn’t fall.”

His statement prompted conflicting reactions on social media. While some people disagreed with his statements and believed that the video was authentic, others accused political actors of using misinformation.

A commentator wrote, “Everything is AI now? Nigerians deserve clear answers, not excuses.” Another said, “Opposition or not, this kind of video needs official clarification.”

In response to the uproar, the president addressed the clip, claiming that President Tinubu did not collapse but just missed his step, emphasising that it was not a health-related occurrence.
