Nigerian singer Brymo Olawale, popularly known as Brymo, has opened up about his past relationships during the peak of his music career, revealing that he was involved with several married women.
Speaking in an interview with NotJustOK, the singer said he was around 26 or 27 years old when his songs were topping the charts and he attracted significant attention from women.
According to Brymo, many of the women who pursued relationships with him were married. He claimed that in some instances, he even performed at family events attended by their husbands.
Recalling one experience, he said a married woman he was involved with invited him to perform at her younger sister’s wedding before later asking him to perform again at a family gathering in her home, where her husband was also present.
Brymo also recounted an encounter with veteran singer Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, claiming that the music icon once jokingly asked him, in the presence of his then-wife, actress Annie Idibia, whether he had been involved with her.
The singer’s remarks have since generated conversations on social media, with many reacting to his candid reflections on that period of his life.
