A widow has turned to Facebook for advice on how to use money she recently received following her husband’s burial.

According to her, members of her women’s meeting group gave her ₦90,000 as support after the funeral.

As a Christian, she said she is uncertain whether she should pay tithe from the money or use the entire amount to cover her children’s school fees.

Seeking guidance from fellow believers and social media users, the widow asked whether it would be more appropriate to set aside a portion as tithe or direct all the funds toward her children’s educational needs. The post has since generated varying opinions, with many people sharing their views on faith, giving, and financial priorities during difficult times.

She wrote: “A cry of a young widow.

“After the burial of my husband Thier meeting members gave me 90,000 Naira
and my  children’s school fees are fast approaching.

“Should I pay tights from that money or should I use all of the money for my children school fees? Ijeuwa m.”
