Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has broken her quiet after videos of her arguing with some National Assembly staff leaked online.

Senator Natasha claimed on her Instagram page that she was noticeably absent from the Senate Committee meeting of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), when parliamentarians interacted with the Commission and discussed on its 2026 budget.

The Senator stated that she learned about the meeting barely twenty minutes before it was scheduled to end, and that as a serving Senator representing the region, she was expected to attend.She added that she was not told of the meeting, nor was she included in the Senate’s NCDC communication platform, where official information is communicated, and that her name was not on the list of lawmakers scheduled to attend the budget screening.
