Commotion at wedding as bride’s family discovered that the groom is transgender after completion of the “Seven vows “of marital bond

A groom was discovered to be transgender during his wedding festivities.

Just hours after performing the “seven vows” of marriage, a 22-year-old groom was “exposed” as apparently belonging to the transgender (kinnar) group.

The stunning finding was revealed just before the bride’s ceremonial “bidai” on Friday night, February 13, 2026.

The marriage was arranged six months ago between a local girl and Rishu, a native of Pure Ganai village in India.

On February 13, 2026 the “baraat” arrived in full celebratory mode, complete with a band, dancing relatives, and a warm welcome from the bride’s family.

Rituals were accomplished, and the visitors retired after dinner. Around 4 a.m., as preparations for the bride’s departure began, a group of “kinnars” (transgenders) from Kadopur arrived at the venue to collect the customary “neg” (gift).

The atmosphere changed considerably when they recognised the groom. According to eyewitnesses, the groom’s family swiftly handed out Rs 23,000 and urged them to be silent.

When the bride’s relatives invited the groom to walk inside to confirm his gender, he refused and caused a fuss.

The visiting “kinnars” revealed that the groom was once a member of their group.

Furious bride’s relatives seized the groom while police were called.

However, no formal complaint was filed, presumably due to societal sensitivities.

Following negotiations, the groom’s side reportedly agreed to reimburse wedding expenses. The “baraat” returned without the bride.
