A Nigerian lady has sparked online conversation after calling out politicians who campaign for re-election with the same promises they made four years ago—and citizens who continue to accept it.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she questioned why voters seem to accept the same projections and “we will fix it” speeches without asking what happened to the original plan.

In her words, she said:

“How does someone campaign for re-election using the same promises he campaigned with four years ago? The same promises, the same projection, the same ‘we’re going to fix it.’ Sorry, what happened to the first plan? I’m not attacking anybody, I’m just trying to make you understand something.”

Supporters often argue that four years are insufficient to address the issue in Nigeria.
