A public marriage proposal ended in an embarrassing moment after a lady reportedly rejected a man’s proposal and walked away, leaving him on his knees.
The incident, which reportedly occurred at the Abuja City Gate, was captured in a video that has since gone viral on social media.
In the video, a crowd gathered around the couple and cheered as they repeatedly shouted, “Say yes, say yes.”
However, the proposal did not go as many of those present had expected.
The lady was seen speaking angrily to the man before throwing away a flower she was holding, believed to have been given to her by him.
She subsequently walked away, leaving the man kneeling as the crowd watched the dramatic scene unfold.
