Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has reacted to rapper Zlatan’s recent claim about having over N500 million in his account.
Zlatan recently caused a stir online after sharing a screenshot showing a balance of about N504 million in his account.
Reacting to the development, Portable questioned how a musician could have such a huge amount of money in a bank account.
According to Portable, he does not believe the money belongs to Zlatan. He alleged that if the rapper genuinely owns the money, then he may be involved in money laundering or other questionable business activities.
Portable also claimed that he has seen and spent more than N500 million before. He added that he expects to earn a similar amount in the future from an endorsement deal, claiming that he would soon become a Fanta ambassador.
The latest comments come amid the history of tension between Portable and Zlatan.
Portable previously accused Zlatan of influencing Davido against him following his meeting with the singer in the United States.
According to Portable, he was in the US looking for an international artiste to collaborate with when Davido invited him to spend time together.
Portable claimed that Zlatan later advised Davido to be cautious about associating with him.
In June last year, Portable also criticised Davido shortly after the singer hosted him to dinner and gifted him a luxury shoe.
Portable alleged that Davido, despite being signed to Sony Music, advised him against signing with the record label and encouraged him to consider Empire instead.
