After discussions, Bam Margera has decided to give his estranged wife, Nikki Boyd, $2,500 a month in child support.
Phoenix Margera, the couple’s eight-year-old son, will start receiving payments on January 1st, according to court records that TMZ was able to obtain. Boyd has also committed to supplying and maintaining the child’s health insurance, according to the documents.
Compared to Boyd’s previous request of $15,000 per month, which was predicated on allegations that Margera’s net worth was roughly $55 million, the agreement represents a substantial decrease. After protracted legal negotiations, the updated figure indicates that both parties came to an agreement.
Controversy has surrounded the couple’s split, including Margera’s prior claim that their 2013 wedding was invalid. He asserted that no official paperwork was completed in the United States and that the ceremony was held in Iceland, where neither party resided.
The conflict was made more difficult by Margera’s long history of substance abuse, as Boyd and her attorneys had previously insisted that his interactions with Phoenix be monitored because of worries about alcohol consumption.
Since then, Margera has declared himself sober and attributed his recovery to his current spouse, Dannii Marie, whom he wed in 2024. He has claimed that her unwavering commitment to sobriety was crucial to his attempts to abstain from alcohol.
