
The Airport Police Command reports that it has taken notice of a video that is currently making the rounds on social media that shows Command police officers and Instagram content creator teaserprank2 after a standard stop-and-search operation.
The content creator claimed in a widely circulated video that he had gone to pick up a friend from the airport and was stopped by some officers along the airport road on his way home. He claimed that after searching his car’s trunk for evidence, the officers accused him and his friends of st£aling. He claimed that when he refused to accompany them to their office, the situation got worse. He claimed that the officers mistreated him and treated him like a cr!minal.
He captured a video of one of the officers h!tting his phone while he was trying to record, as well as one of them grabbing him by the trouser and dragging him.
ASP Mohammed Adeola, the spokesperson for the Airport Command, responded to the viral video by stating that the officers seen in it have been identified and detained. According to the current rules, regulations, and professional standards of the Nigeria Police Force, they are presently going through the proper internal disciplinary procedures, he said.

The Nigeria Police Force does not condone any form of harassment, intimidation, or unprofessional conduct by its personnel under any circumstance. Our officers are expected to carry out their lawful duties with civility, restraint, and respect for the rights and dignity of all citizens.
He invited the content creator to the Airport Police Command to enable a full resolution of the matter.
