Influencer Shay Martin has remarried one year after the d£ath of her husband, Tanner Martin, who passed away following a battle with stage 4 colon cancer.

Shay announced the news in an emotional Instagram video shared on Sunday, August 2, revealing that she has found love again after losing her husband in June 2025.

Confirming the marriage in a statement to PEOPLE, Shay expressed gratitude to everyone who has supported her family throughout their journey.

She said:

“I’m grateful for all of the people who have followed our story and who genuinely care about AmyLou and I. I also understand that people have questions and are curious about where life has taken us. That’s one of the reasons I decided to share the reel on Instagram.”

Shay also reflected on the wishes her late husband had for her and their daughter, AmyLou, explaining that he always wanted them to continue living life with hope and happiness despite his passing.

Her announcement has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many congratulating her on finding happiness again, while others offered prayers in memory of her late husband.
