A Nigerian woman has generated outrage online after slamming guys who approach women despite seeming unclean or lacking basic personal hygiene.
The woman wondered why some men approach ladies confidently without first taking care of their appearance and overall grooming.
In a popular video, she stated that some men assume being male gives them the confidence to approach any woman, regardless of appearance.
“Some of you think that because you’re a man, you can walk up to any woman and talk to her, not minding how drty you look, how drty your teeth is.
You do not even look at yourself from head to toe. Some of you, your nose, the hairs inside is about to enter your mouth, but you’re still seeing it and you’re still seeing it and you have the guts and audacity to walk up to somebody.”
Social media users’ responses to her remarks have been divided; some viewers concur that grooming and personal cleanliness are crucial when approaching someone.
Others, on the other hand, contended that a person’s appearance shouldn’t be the deciding factor in whether or not they should strike up a discussion.
