A Nigerian woman has generated outrage online after giving her thoughts on marriage, relationships, and women over 30 who are still unmarried.

According to a TikTok video shared by @qwinberry, she advises women who feel they are getting older to prioritise having children over waiting indefinitely for marriage.

“If you know you are 30 years and above, you’re late as a woman. Just find a man to impregnate you and have a child. It’s not your fault that you’re not married. It’s the men. Those men are useless.”

The lady also claimed that many men are drawn to wealthy women, and that some men are also guilty of seeking financially stable mates for personal gain.

She also cited a recent church-related event involving a woman who purportedly attracted the attention of a big number of men to back up her point about modern dating and relationships.

“Men are also gold diggers. If you have money, men will definitely run after you. They are looking for a woman that can cater for them and take care of them too, so they won’t suffer,” she added.

Her comments have generated heated debate online, with some agreeing with parts of her argument while others strongly disagreed with her views on marriage, age, and relationships.

One user wrote, “Marriage is not a competition. Everybody has their own timing in life.” Another added, “Some men are gold diggers too, she didn’t lie there.”
