Controversial singer Portable has urged Nigerians to stop branding all Fulani people as baπdits, emphasizing that cr!minal acts should not be used to judge an entire ethnic group.
The singer stated that many people wrongly assume that anyone who looks or dresses like a Fulani person is involved in criminal activities. He warned that such stereotypes can be daπgerous and may result in innocent individuals being unfairly targeted or mistreated.
Portable stressed that cr!minality is an individual matter and should not be attributed to an entire community based on the actions of a few people.
“Please, let’s stop making mistakes by labelling all Fulani as baπdits. Me, I am not included. Because you see a squad of Fulani inside a bus, you will just conclude that they are baπdits. They are not baπdits.”
“Some are Hausa, some are their families, Fulani. Some are rearing cows, some sell pepper, and others are into business,” he said.
