A Nigerian woman has burst into tears online after discussing how life has overwhelmed her, despite her hard work, education, and faith.

In a popular video on X (previously Twitter), she stated that she is about to be evicted after failing to pay her rent, with her caretaker preparing to deliver her a quit notice.

The lady expressed her dissatisfaction, saying she is tired of people always preaching faith to her when her reality worsens by the day.

“Nobody should open their mouth and tell me about faith again. I work hard, I studied, I still have faith, but nothing is working,” she lamented.

She added that her status had deteriorated so much that she had to take out a loan just to pay her school fees, emphasising that faith alone had not transformed her circumstances.

The extremely fatigued lady stated she no longer knows how to convey her anguish, claiming she is depleted and worn out by life’s demands.

Her emotional outburst has elicited conflicting reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing empathy and others encouraging her to persevere.

One user wrote, “This country can humble anybody. Hard work no longer guarantees anything 😢.” Another commented, “People should stop shouting faith when systems are failing.”
