“No one will see this and refuse to vote for Mr. President” – Okpebholo hails Tinubu during project inspection in Edo

Monday Okpebholo, the governor of Edo State, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the obvious improvement of a significant route in the state, stating that locals have every reason to back the president in the run-up to the 2027 elections.

Speaking during an examination of the restored road, the governor highlighted the state’s progress in comparison to the route’s prior status.

“There’s no man in Edo who can see this road today and say he won’t vote for the President, because if the road were still like it used to be, nobody would be able to pass during the rainy season,” he said.

The road was nearly impassable prior to the reconstruction, particularly during periods of intense rain, making travel very challenging for both inhabitants and drivers.

Governor Okpebholo claims that the enhancement promotes local economic activity in addition to making transit easier.

He underlined the importance of infrastructure development in fostering community connections and enhancing residents’ daily lives.

Many Nigerians have praised the road project in response to the governor’s remarks, while others have questioned whether public infrastructure should have an impact on political support.
