Actress Annie Macauley objected to being introduced as “Annie Idibia,” so a club in Lagos had to change the message on its LED welcome banner.

The actress, who is no longer in contact with her husband, singer Innocent “Tuface” Idibia, posted a video of the LED welcome banner with the words “Welcome Annie Idibia” on it on her Instagram Stories.

It shows Annie and her pals protesting the banner’s name.

“No Idibia,” wrote a friend who first posted the video on Instagram.

Annie wrote “Hummm” and shared it again. 

Another video shows the club staff lifting up the same LED banner with “Welcome Annie Macauley” written on it. 

“Correct,” Annie Idibia wrote in approval as she shared the second video.
