A guy has described how he got entangled in a furious dispute between his girlfriend’s parents during a visit to her family’s house, which took an unexpected turn.

The man claims that the incident occurred soon after he decided to see his sweetheart at her family home after completing his National Youth Service Corps program.

When the couple’s parents unexpectedly got into a heated argument in front of him, what had started off as a typical visit took a different turn.

The man claimed that as the debate grew more heated, his girlfriend’s father abruptly turned to face him and posed an awkward question.

“Is this how your mother talks to your father?”

The visitor said he responded respectfully to the question.

“no sir.”

He clarified that after responding, he was surprised by what transpired.

The man claims that although he had little to do with the argument, things swiftly got out of hand.

“next thing i knew, i was being escorted out like i was the cause of the wahala”

Since then, his account has generated responses on social media, with numerous users recounting similar experiences of being caught in awkward familial circumstances when visiting a partner’s house.
