Fashion designer and content creator Veekee James has responded to an online troll who criticised her for always appearing in public alongside her husband.

The troll, identified as Lauren, questioned why Veekee’s husband accompanies her to nearly every event, including the recent wedding of content creators Peller and Jarvis, asking whether he had “a life of his own.”

Reacting to the comment, Veekee passionately defended their relationship, insisting that she and her husband genuinely enjoy doing life together and have no intention of living separately.

According to her, they see themselves as inseparable, adding that while other couples are free to manage their marriages however they choose, she has no plans to keep her husband away from her.

The exchange went:

Troll: “Does this man have a life of his own? Must he follow you everywhere?? Did you see your friend’s husband there? You don turn am to handbag?”

Veekee James: “Yes, my husband does not have a life of his own. His life is my life. My life is his life. He is me and I am him. Together we are like what? Padlock and key. When you marry your own, separate him. Remove him from your life and keep him somewhere else. But you see this my own? He is me and I am him. You will see me and him everywhere.”

Her response has since gone viral, sparking mixed reactions online. While many praised the couple’s close bond and admired their public display of affection, others argued that every marriage is different and that couples should be free to define their own relationship dynamics.
