A young lady has recounted how she was left heartbroken in church after her secret relationship ended in a shocking way.

She said she had been privately dating her boyfriend, who serves as the choirmaster, and no one else in the church knew about their relationship.

During Sunday service, the pastor reportedly invited him to give a testimony. It was then that he announced that his wedding would be taking place next month.

According to the lady, she expected him to mention her name, but he instead named another female member of the church as his bride-to-be.

She described the moment as devastating and said she struggled to hold herself together throughout the service.
