In contrast to his twin brother Paul Okoye, who was born on November 18, 1981, singer Peter Okoye, better known as Mr. P of the now-defunct group P-Square, has announced a different birthday.

Today, April 20, he announced it using his X handle. He claims that November 30th will now be his birthday.

He stated that he wanted everyone to understand that this was a personal choice.

“Dear Family, Friends, and Fans,

I’m making it official. November 18th is no longer my birthday celebration date. Please note that I will not be accepting any messages or gifts on that day.

My birthday will now be celebrated on November 30th. This is a personal decision, and I truly appreciate your understanding.

Thank you all” he wrote

The move comes amidst the strained relationship with his twin brother, Paul Okoye and their older brother, Jude Okoye, following P-Square’s split years ago
