A Nigerian woman expressed sadness after purportedly discovering on Facebook that her 70-year-old father is planning to marry a 35-year-old woman she refers to as his side chick.

In a video, she expressed surprise that she learned about the wedding through a post provided by a friend rather than from her father or relatives.

She regarded her father as a childhood idol and the ideal man she wished to marry, but his purported decision had altered her opinion of him.

She also commended her mother for keeping the family together during difficult times, alleging that her father began to treat her differently after becoming financially stable.

She closed by stating that she no longer recognises the man her father has become, and that the wedding is supposedly set on September 10 2026.
