Afrobeats musician Davido is praised by Nigerian skit artist and content creator Carter Efe for helping him make the most money of his life on a livestream.

He stated he became a “big boy overnight” and recounted how Davido’s participation in one of his streams brought him substantial financial advantages.

Recall that in December 2025, Davido and Carter Efe participated in a Twitch livestream that set a record for African streaming, drawing over 80,000 concurrent viewers and assisting Carter in gaining over 139,000 followers in a single evening.

He also gained more than 20,000 subscribers throughout the live, making him the most popular African streamer on Twitch at the moment.
