A mother has cried out for advice after her four-year-old son allegedly claimed that an “unseen woman” talks and plays with him in his room at night.

The concerned mother shared her experience online, explaining that she initially dismissed her son’s behaviour, believing he was simply playing with his toys or using his imagination.

According to her, she repeatedly asked the boy who he was talking to, but he would simply respond, “Nobody, Mummy.”

However, she became increasingly concerned after noticing that the behaviour continued.

‘Mummy, She Is Sitting There’

The mother said she eventually questioned her son again about who he was always talking to in his room.

“I told him, ‘My son, who are you always talking to in this room?’”

The boy reportedly pointed toward an empty corner of the room and replied, “Mummy, she is sitting there.”

“I honestly got scared,” the mother said.

She reportedly asked her son who the woman was, and he mentioned a name she said she had never heard before.

When asked what the woman usually told him, the boy allegedly said that she talks to him and sometimes plays with him.

The mother also said her son described what the woman allegedly looks like.

“The strange thing is that he only talks about this woman when he is in his room,” she said.

“I have never seen anybody there, and nobody in our house has that name.”

She said she also asked whether the woman was one of his teachers or someone he knew from school, but her son reportedly said no.

The mother added that the situation became more unsettling because her son sometimes sits alone and laughs as though someone is playing with him.

‘Goodnight. I Will See You Tomorrow’

The mother recalled another incident that left her particularly uncomfortable.

“Yesterday, before he went to bed, he looked at that same corner and said, ‘Goodnight. I will see you tomorrow.’”

“I honestly didn’t know what to say,” she added.

Despite her concerns, the mother said she did not want to frighten her son or make him feel that he had done something wrong.

“I don’t want to frighten my child or make him feel like he has done something wrong,” she said.

“But as his mother, I am also worried because I don’t understand what is happening.”

‘He Will Suddenly Stop Talking’

The mother said she had also noticed that her son would sometimes talk and laugh alone while she was in another part of the house.

She said she could hear him behaving as though he was having a conversation or playing with someone.

“When I enter the room, he will suddenly stop talking,” she said.

According to the mother, the behaviour has become more frequent, with her son reportedly talking to the unseen woman almost every night.

She said she was unsure whether the boy was simply engaging in imaginative play, something that can occur during childhood, or whether the behaviour required further attention.

Rather than frightening or confronting her son, she said she wanted to understand what might be happening and determine the appropriate way to respond.

Mother Seeks Advice

The woman appealed to other parents to share their experiences and advise her on what to do.

“Please, mothers, has anybody experienced something like this with a child before?” she asked.

“Could this just be a child’s imagination, or should I be concerned and talk to his doctor or teacher about it?”

She added, “I really need advice because I don’t know whether I am overthinking this or my son is trying to tell me something.”

The mother’s account has generated concern and discussion online, with people offering different explanations for the child’s behaviour and urging her to approach the situation calmly while seeking appropriate professional guidance.
