“Missing a trophy for your child’s birth is worth it”- Media personality Solomon Buchi

Solomon Buchi, a media personality, has backed Belgian footballer Jeremy Doku following criticism over allegations that he missed the Club World Cup to attend the birth of his first kid.

According to him, being present for your partner during delivery entails more than just cutting the umbilical chord. It is about providing emotional support, comfort, and being present when it means most.

He emphasised that family should take precedence over prizes, particularly for the birth of a first child, and praised Doku’s decision as an example that more men should follow.

“Your presence tells your wife and child that family comes first,” he said.
