Nigerian singer Mavo has sparked reactions after liking a social media comment referring to his senior colleague, Davido, as “Slovido.”

The comment was made under a post discussing Mavo’s music, with a user writing: “At least the verse better pass slovido own”, before the remark was liked by Mavo.

The interaction has since caught the attention of social media users, with some interpreting the like as a sign that Mavo agrees with the comparison, while others urged fans not to create unnecessary rivalry between artistes.
