“Marry for money” — Pastor advises men, ladies never to marry for love

A controversial lecture by preacher Pastor Angel provoked significant internet outrage after he recommended individuals to emphasise cash over love when choosing a life mate.

The preacher made the comments during a sermon that has since gone viral on social media, in which he encouraged his congregation to view marriage as a financial decision.

During the speech, Pastor Angel explained that many wealthy Jewish families see marriage as a purposeful financial arrangement rather than a personal relationship.

According to him, such couplings are frequently used to strengthen family wealth and economic ties across generations.

Read below;

Forty percent of billionaires are Jewish. Hear me well, they don’t marry for love. Jews never marry for love.

“You marry for butterflies; they marry for balance sheets. Every union they do, they are doing it to create a deal. You invite your friends to your wedding; Jews don’t. They invite investors.

The ones that the whole family created from generations are the ones who attend.

For the time you, you, you s#lly people walk your daughter down the aisle, they have already finished their traditional seven rounds around a woman, and after that, they’re in the corner making deals. And guess what you’re doing?

After forty years of showing photos of what happened at your wedding, they are busy analyzing what happened in their businesses because of the connection that their son did with the daughter of somebody who is rich. You are in for emotions; Jews are in for money.”

In order to support his point, the cleric contrasted divorce rates among Christians and Jews.

He stated that the divorce rate among Christians is 55%, compared to 4% among Jews, indicating that emotional decisions in marriage may not last.

“Love will fade; balance sheets compound,” he said.

Pastor Angel also recommended parents to ensure that their children marry into financially stable homes.

He emphasised that wealth should be an essential consideration when choosing a marriage.

“Make sure your child brings a woman or a man who is not broke, refuse. I told all my sons, ‘You are not marrying a woman. We are marrying your wife.’

“I’m included. In this church, I believe in marrying into a rich family. Marry rich! I said, marry rich! If this man loves you for legs, marry them for money.”
