Manhunt for gunman who shot three de@d including his heavily pregnant ex-partner

An accused m8√d£rer who is suspected of sh••ting three people, including his pregnant ex-partner, is the target of a manhunt.

After the alleged triple m8√der in Lake Cargelligo on Thursday, January 22, 2026, New South Wales police in Australia are searching for Julian Ingram, also known as Pierpoint, 37.

Police have confirmed that prior to the sh••ting, Ingram was released on bond for domestic abuse charges.

The victims who were sh•t while driving in Lake Cargelligo were identified by the Sydney Morning Herald as Sophie Quinn, 24, and her partner, John Harris, 32.

The duo were targeted around 4.30pm on Bokhara Street. Reports suggest that Ingram then made his way to a local residence and shot Sophie’s aunt, Nerida Quinn, 50.

Kaled Macqueen, 19, was also sh•t on the driveway of the Walker Street property, sustaining serious injuries.

Macqueen was rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Ingram is alleged to have a$$aulted Quinn after their split and was granted bail on November 30, 2025, having been charged with stalking or intimidating with intent to cause fear or physical harm, and common a$$ault.

Ingram, 37, pleaded not guilty to the charges and was due to appear in court on February 3, according to the Herald. His bail conditions stipulated that Ingram report daily to local police and he was barred from contacting or being within 100 metres of Quinn.

A police spokesperson confirmed he was definitely in a domestic relationship with one of the victims and revealed the suspected sh•oter has never possessed a firearms licence.

Authorities are urging the public to help trace the man, who remains at large following the incident.

He’s described as having Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander heritage, standing roughly 165cm-170cm tall with a medium frame, short dark hair and brown eyes.

The suspect was last spotted behind the wheel of a Ford Ranger ute bearing NSW plates DM-07-GZ, which features council branding, a metal cargo bed, high-visibility side markings and a roof-mounted emergency light bar.

A massive police operation has descended on the tiny Australian community after the sh•oting, with 100 officers hunting the suspected k!ll°er.

NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Andy Holland has warned Lake Cargelligo locals to remain inside, keep away from windows and alert authorities to any suspicious activity.

“It’s a tragedy that’s taken place in a very small country town, and it will have a big effect on the community,” Holland said.
