Pedro Neto, a winger for Chelsea, is reportedly being considered by Manchester City as the Premier League powerhouses look into the potential of reuniting the Portugal international with manager Enzo Maresca.

During the summer transfer window, Neto became a target for City, and AC Milan is also keeping an eye on the 26-year-old’s circumstances in preparation for the upcoming season.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers winger is reportedly valued at roughly £70 million by Chelsea, who are not actively looking to sell him, though a sizable offer might start talks.

After Maresca recognised Neto as a player who might easily fit into his attacking scheme, City’s interest is said to have increased.

Before the Italian took over as head coach of Manchester City from Pep Guardiola, the two had previously collaborated at Chelsea.

Elliot Anderson and Jeremy Monga have already bolstered City’s roster, but Maresca is apparently eager to add more offensive talent before the transfer window shuts.

Neto is allegedly at the top of Serie A powerhouse AC Milan’s wishlist as they get ready for Rafael Leao’s potential departure.

However, Leao’s future is anticipated to dictate Milan’s transfer intentions, and their chances of closing a deal hinge on making money through player sales.

Neto’s representatives have also made an offer to Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League, but a move to the Middle East is thought to be improbable. At this point in his career, the Portuguese international reportedly wants to stay in European football.

In 2024, Chelsea paid almost £54 million to acquire Neto from Wolves. He has since made 103 appearances and scored 19 goals for the Blues.

Chelsea still views the winger as a crucial component of Xabi Alonso’s team, despite interest from several teams.

However, the London club may take into consideration offers that match their valuation before the transfer window ends after making significant investments in the transfer market, including a club-record signing for Morgan Rogers.
