A guy has published a detailed account of his encounter with a woman he met online, alleging that the situation worsened after repeated failed efforts to meet owing to transport fare requests.

According to his story, he sent ₦15,000 on three occasions to assist the woman in travelling to meet him. She apparently failed to show up each time.

On her initial try, she reportedly claimed she used the money for a “ajo” contribution.

On the second occasion, she claimed that her phone had died and she was unable to communicate. The third time, she apparently offered no explanation, just an apologies.

The man added that the scenario changed on a subsequent Friday when the woman called him again, stating that she planned to come.

He further mentioned that she arrived many hours later after first taking her time to react.

Instead of driving her to his home, he stated that he had reserved a hotel room for her three-day stay.

He also stated that they spent time together throughout their stay before he left on Sunday afternoon, telling her to purchase dinner while he was away.

Shortly after leaving the hotel, the man stated that he had blocked her across all contact platforms. He did not elaborate on what led to that conclusion.
