A man offers his girlfriend ₦35,000 for her Christmas hair, with tight instructions on how the money should be spent.

In a series of messages that have subsequently surfaced on social media, the man instructed his girlfriend to use the money solely to braid her hair and make sure it was done tightly.

He said the haircut had to endure till March and may only be loosened on March 1.

He advised her not to compare him to other guys who reportedly spend between ₦200,000 and ₦500,000 on their partners’ hair.

According to him, if she desired such treatment, she could find someone else prepared to pay that amount.

Defending his position, the man mentioned how she arranged her hair when they first met, stating that she had simple all-back braids at the time. He explained that the ₦35,000 update was intended to “promote” her beauty.

The man further added that if she was displeased with the money or its terms, she should return it so that he could use it to place a sports betting wager.
