A 40-year-old Malawian national was critically injured following an alleged d0mestic dispute with his girlfriend in South Africa.

According to a statement from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), the man was found on the roadside on Monday, June 1, 2026, bl33ding heavily from head injuries.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene, witnesses reportedly informed them that the man had been a$$aulted with a wooden plank.

Witnesses also claimed that the injured man had been seen chasing his 38-year-old girlfriend during a d0mestic dispute the previous day.

RUSA stated that officers were unable to locate the woman alleged to have carried out the a$$ault.
