A Nigerian man has screamed out for immediate assistance after allegedly being beaten at his home by a group of men, alleging the incident occurred after he renounced Islam.
In a disturbing video shared on X (previously Twitter) by @ChukEricE, the man can be heard begging for help as the men allegedly try to force their way into his home.

“Please help me, help me. They are breaking my door. Please help me. I said I wasn’t doing Islam again, that was my offense. Please help me.”
The video shows the men attempting to bust down his door, with one apparently claiming they should figure out a better way to get the iron door down.
The individual said that his decision to abandon Islam prompted the alleged attack, raising fundamental questions about the freedom to choose one’s beliefs.
Social media users have voiced their disbelief and fury.
One wrote, “This is horrifying! No one should be attacked for changing their faith.” Another added, “Religious freedom must be respected. This is unacceptable.”
