Many people on social media are calling for justice for the victim after a man was captured physically abusing a woman in Akwa Ibom State.

According to information gathered, the incident happened on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the victim’s store on Hospital Road in Abak town.

The man identified as Hope Ekong allegedly att@cked Rachael Ndop after she turned down his advances.

The woman is seen asking the man where he kept her food while he beats her with a stick in the video that has gone viral on social media.

Locals are urging the police to apprehend and prosecute the suspect right away.

They also urged relevant authorities in Akwa Ibom State to ensure this case is not swept under the carpet.
