A woman has described her extraordinary experience with a fellow bus rider who allegedly feigned to be asleep in order to evade paying his transportation cost.

She claimed that all other passengers had paid the conductor, but the man seemed to be sleeping and stayed silent the entire way.

The woman informed the conductor that the passenger had not paid as the vehicle got closer to its last stop. The man eventually made payment after the conductor checked and apparently found that she was right.

The woman said that instead of letting the situation finish there, the passenger got upset and started abusing her for calling the conductor’s attention to him.

She said, “Tell me why this guy started cussing me out after payment. I didn’t talk! Conductor dey cuss am back.”

She claims that despite the insults, she first refused to reply, but once people got off the bus, everything changed.

She recalled that the man called her a “mad woman“, adding that she finally reacted when he said, “Look at you, mad woman”.

The woman said she immediately began shouting, “Tiffff oh! Ole oh! Tiffff, Tiffff, Tiffff oh!”

The man apparently fled the scene before a mob could form as a result of her screams drawing attention from those in the vicinity.

She said that people who had seen what had happened were amused by his abrupt withdrawal since they could see why she had started yelling.

According to the woman’s report, there was an odd altercation that started over a purportedly unpaid bus fare and finished with the passenger quickly leaving the area.
