A Nigerian woman, Ifeoma Judith Okoro, has shared side-by-side photos showing her sister’s transformation after leaving an alleged abu$ive marriage.

The first image reportedly shows her sister with swollen and bloodied lips following an alleged a$sault by her husband.

According to Ifeoma, the incident took place on Christmas Day in 2021.

She also recounted that the police were eventually involved after the man allegedly confiscated her sister’s academic credentials.

“God is the greatest. After my sister left this monster,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

“He tried to frustrate her by seizing her credentials that he manipulated her to keep.

“We eventually involved the police and at the end of the day the document he lied in the station that it wasn’t with him came after hand don touch am small.

“You for wait for me to come use my hand collect am. Didn’t know who borrowed you some sense along the line.
