During a recent date, a young lady in Nigeria sparked online debate by freely discussing her views on infidelity and marital boundaries.

When asked what she would do if her boyfriend cheated, she reportedly said: “It doesn’t really concern me. After all, it’s your money you’ll be spending. When you’re done, you’ll still come back home to me.”

She outlined three rules she considers as  non-negotiable: “Don’t get any woman pregnant. Don’t bring any other lady into our home. Don’t give me any infection or disease from your escapades.” The young lady explained her rules are based on realism rather than cynicism, noting: “I believe almost all men cheat and it’s not something we can change.”

Her date reflected on the encounter, advising young men to prioritise financial stability: “Do everything legitimately possible to make money. The rules women set are always for broke men. Above all, love God.”
