A Nigerian woman has sparked reactions online after sharing a disappointing experience from a recent date.

The lady, known on X (formerly Twitter) as @tall_chilizzy, recounted that her date had advised her to pick a meal within a ₦25,000 budget.

However, she said she went ahead to order food worth about ₦85,000. According to her account, she was shocked when the man allegedly walked out of the restaurant without settling the bill, leaving her stranded.

“So I went on a date yesterday, and this man had the audacity to tell me to order food worth 25k… like what exactly is going on with men these days?
Meanwhile, I ordered a food platter worth 85k… now tell me, who exactly was supposed to pay for that?
Omo… this so-called “big boy” literally got up and left me at the restaurant. Imagine being stranded because of a broke guy forming rich, driving GLE on top.
The audacity is actually alarming.”
