Activist Detoun Onabanjo has called for King Mitchy, a social media influencer, to be removed from social media following her two ‘fake’ attempts to commit suicide during a live session.

According to Detoun, she has alerted men from the Rapid Response Squad, the office of the Commissioner of Police in Lagos state, and the Police force’s Instagram page about the social media influencer’s recent actions.

In two ‘fake’ attempts on live TV, King Mitchy consumed two harmful substances while claiming she wanted to commit suicide. She pulled out the suicide stunt over her online clash with social critic, Very Dark Man. She also issued a press statement claiming she had been admitted to a hospital in Abuja following her attempt; however, the hospital denied admitting her and stated that they knew nothing about her situation.
