Popular Kenyan comedian and musician Stevo Simple Boy has announced his split from his girlfriend, Brenda, after a DNA test reportedly showed he is not the biological father of the child he thought was his.

Stevo confirmed the separation in an official statement, noting that the DNA results were difficult for him to come to terms with.

“Following the DNA test results, I wish to officially announce that Brenda and I are no longer together as a couple,” he wrote.

“The results have been difficult to process, but I have chosen to handle this matter with dignity and respect for everyone involved. I ask my fans and the public to respect my privacy as I navigate this chapter of my life.”

He also appreciated Microafia Healthcare for carrying out the DNA test and releasing the results.

Stevo added that he will now concentrate on his music career and working toward a better future, while thanking his fans for their continued support.
