Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, has cautioned Nigerians against selling their votes ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a warning shared on his Instagram page, the logistics manager to singer Davido posted a disturbing video showing k!dnappers a$$aulting victims. He used the footage to advise citizens who exchange their votes for money or food items to reflect on the long-term consequences of such decisions.

“Think of kidnap victims being flogged by their abductors before selling your soul for money or food items,” Israel DMW stated. He specifically called out voters who compromise the country’s future in exchange for a bag of rice, instant noodles, or sums as low as ₦10,000. he wrote

Furthermore, he raised concerns over the nation’s security architecture. He alleged that many apprehended kidnappers are frequently released back into society under the guise of being “repented” cr!minals, only to resume terrorizing innocent citizens.
