Israel Declares State of Emergency After Deadly Iranian Missile Strike Leaves Dozens Injured

Israeli media reports cited by Al Jazeera said emergency services were treating at least 70 people following the attack. Rescue teams and medical personnel were immediately deployed across the city as authorities worked to control the situation and assist the injured.

Eyewitnesses described scenes of panic as sirens sounded shortly before the missile struck. Several buildings were reportedly damaged, while emergency workers searched the affected areas for additional casualties. Ambulances were seen transporting victims to nearby hospitals, with some of the injured believed to be in serious condition.

The strike on Arad is the latest in a series of escalating attacks between Iran and Israel, which have intensified in recent days. Southern parts of Israel have been among the hardest hit, with repeated missile barrages raising concerns about civilian safety and the effectiveness of defence systems under sustained pressure.
