A man shared on social media that he witnessed his 5-year-old daughter praying and revealed the reason for it.

The man, @YouKnoImHim on X (previously Twitter), said that his daughter initially refused to admit what she was doing.

In a tweet with over 70,000 views, a man asked his daughter if she was praying, despite her shyness.

However, after encouraging her, she admitted to praying for their dog, Tyson, whom she adored.

‎Guys, I just caught my 5 year old daughter praying. 😭😭😭😭😭. She jumped up and started playing with something, and when I asked what she was doing, she said, “Nothing.”

‎I asked if she was praying, and she got shy. I told her there was nothing to be embarrassed about, that it was amazing, and I was so proud of her.

‎Then she told me she was praying for Tyson (the dog I posted about)… because she loves him.I’m not okay.
