A video showing Bimbo Ademoye confronting a group of area boys who allegedly disrupted her movie set demanding “settlement” has gone viral on social media.

The clip, shared online by a user identified as Usmanashafe on Thursday, captured the actress standing her ground while addressing the men, who reportedly demanded money because her production team was filming in their neighbourhood.

“Settlement” is a term commonly associated with extortion demands made to movie crews and event organisers operating in some public areas across Lagos.

In the video, a visibly upset Bimbo reportedly told the group that she had no issue giving support or money voluntarily but would not accept behaviour suggesting they were entitled to it by force.

“I am a street girl, let me tell you. Ask around, when it comes to matters of the street, I like settling boys. But you don’t come to me and tell me to give you a certain amount,” she said.

When one of the men retorted that he had not come to beg, Ademoye was blunt in her response.

“Yes, you came to beg. You are even being proud of it,” she said

The confrontation sharpened when one of the boys threatened to switch off her camera. Ademoye fired back: “Camera that nobody in your generation has.”
